To enable certified staff to undertake the role of Level ‘A’ person for a Procedure ‘A’ isolation of the conductor rail

Pre-requisite Requirements

Current Sentinel Track Safety Card endorsed with PTS (DC) and PICOP/ES

Current First Aid for Electrical Accidents certification

Current certification for switching

Current certification for testing and fitting short-circuiting straps

Learning Objectives

At the end of the course the Candidates will be able to:

• Demonstrate an understanding of the method of supplying electricity to the conductor rail, including single feed, double feed, and sectioning.
• Set up a safe system of work as a Level ‘A’ Person for a Procedure ‘A’ Isolation.
