Delegates who require a Signalling Maintenance Testing certificate to perform their maintenance duties.

Following 6 days of instruction and practical work the candidate will be assessed over the last four days of the event.

They should be familiar with:

• Signalling equipment

• Signalling symbols

• Signalling Installation practices

Aim:

On successful completion the delegate will be able to:

• Assist with the testing of Trackside and on Track equipment

• Operate a test desk

• Undertake inspection and counting of wires

• Use straps and apply false-feeds in a safe manner under the guidance of a Tester

• Use an SSI Interrogator & Generator under a guidance of a Tester

• Assist with the testing of control panels
