Who should attend:
Any person aged 16 or over that are required to carry out duties on or near a railway line and does not currently hold a valid Personal Track Safety Certificate.
Objectives:
On successful completion of the course the delegate will be able to, in accordance with Railway Group Standards:
- Demonstrate their ability to interpret correctly Rule Book, A Guide to Personal Track Safety and relevant local instructions when required to go on or near the line
- Demonstrate their understanding and ability to follow a safe system of work.

- Are you fit for work
- The Sentinel Scheme
- Going on to therailway
- Walking in a group and working
- During the work
- Communicating clearly
- Emergency situations
- Track visit and assessment
- Interactive review exercise (optional)
- Theory assessment
- Completion of post course training objectives
