Course Outline:

Who should attend:

Any person aged 16 or over that are required to carry out duties on or near a railway line and does not currently hold a valid Personal Track Safety Certificate.

Objectives:

On successful completion of the course the delegate will be able to, in accordance with Railway Group Standards:

Demonstrate their ability to interpret correctly Rule Book, A Guide to Personal Track Safety and relevant local instructions when required to go on or near the line
Demonstrate their understanding and ability to follow a safe system of work.

Walking in a group and working
During the work
Communicating clearly
Emergency situations
Track visit and assessment
Interactive review exercise (optional)
Theory assessment
