The 5 day Basic Signalling Two (BS2) Course is for delegates who need to broaden their knowledge of signalling practices. Ideally delegates should have successfully completed Basic Signalling One course (BS1) or have equivalent knowledge. The Basic Signalling Two (BS2) Course further extends the introduction in Railway Signalling systems and associated maintenance techniques. It will prepare delegates to move on to specific equipment based courses and provides some evidence for competence assessment in common equipment areas. The course will improve work performance in signal engineering activities through knowledge development and includes hands-on activities in a safe environment.
