The Signal Works Testing Module 5 (SWT5 or Mod 5) Course is delivered over 4 days, followed by a 1:1 Assessment. The course is aimed at delegates who are required to undertake the role of Test Assistant. Delegates should be familiar with; Signalling equipment, Signalling symbols, Signalling Installation practices. On successful completion the delegate will be able to; Assist with the testing of Trackside and on Track equipment, Operate a test desk, Undertake inspection and counting of wires, Use straps and apply false-feeds in a safe manner under the guidance of a Tester, Use an SSI Interrogator & Generator under the guidance of a Tester and Assist with the testing of control panels.
